Community guidelines

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Every Wildomi animal has its own community board. It is a place to share trip stories, swap tips and ask questions about the animals and the places you visited. Anyone can read approved posts. To open a topic or comment, sign in to your Wildomi account.

Your post shows your first name or the display name you choose. We never show your email address. Posts are text only: there are no images, and links appear as plain text that cannot be clicked.

The guidelines

Be kind. Disagree with ideas, not with people. Insults, threats, harassment and hate speech are removed.

Stay on topic. Trips, tips and animals. Tag each topic as a trip story, a tip or a question so others can find it.

Keep personal details out. Do not post email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses or other personal information, yours or anyone else's.

Never share exact locations of protected species. We show some animals' positions 24 or 72 hours late to keep poachers and wildlife traffickers away. Please do the same: describe a region or a park, never GPS coordinates, a precise spot or the place you saw a protected animal today.

No ads or spam. No selling, promotions, affiliate links, repeated posts or recruiting for other services.

Nothing illegal. No content that breaks the law, infringes someone's copyright or encourages harm to animals or people.

Share experience, not orders. You are welcome to say what worked for you. Do not present medical, veterinary or legal advice as fact; point people to a professional instead.

How moderation works

  • Your first 2 posts are reviewed by a person before they appear. After that, posts usually appear right away.
  • Our filter holds any post that contains a link, an email address, a phone number or strong language. A held post is reviewed by a person; it is not rejected automatically.
  • Anyone can report a post with the Report button. When 3 people report the same post, it is hidden until we review it.
  • Our moderators can approve a post, reject it, remove it later or block an account that keeps breaking these guidelines.

If we reject or remove your post, we tell you which guideline or law it broke, and whether it was flagged by our filter or by a report. We do not show you who reported it.

Disagree with a decision?

Send us a message through the Help Center and choose "Community post" as the topic. Include the board and why you think we got it wrong. A person reviews every appeal, and we tell you the outcome. You can appeal within 6 months of our decision.

Who can take part

You need a Wildomi account to post, and Wildomi accounts are for adults 18 and over, as our terms explain. The community is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has posted, we remove the post.

More information

Our terms and conditions explain the permission you give us to show your posts and the full moderation process, including for users in the EU. Our privacy policy explains what is public, how long posts are kept and how to export or delete them.
